Today, I am honored to announce my candidacy for Mayor of the Town of Timberville.
For as long as I can remember, giving back to this community has been an important part of my life. Whether through the Timberville Volunteer Fire Department, the Broadway Emergency Squad, my time on Town Council, or as a local business owner, I've always tried to do my part to make Timberville the best it can be.
In 2020, you placed your trust in me by electing me to the Town Council. Since then, I've had the privilege of serving as Vice Mayor and Chairman of the Public Works Committee, working alongside my fellow council members, town staff, and our citizens to make thoughtful decisions for Timberville. While I'm proud of what we've accomplished together, I also know there is more work to do.
This wasn't a decision I made overnight. I spent a great deal of time talking with my family, praying about it, and listening to the encouragement of many friends and neighbors. In the end, I realized that if I had the opportunity to continue giving back to Timberville in a greater role, I owed it to our community to step forward.
Timberville is more than where I live. It's where I've built my business, formed lifelong friendships, and invested countless hours working alongside others to make our community stronger. I care deeply about our town and about preserving the values that make Timberville such a special place to call home.
Throughout my life, I've had the opportunity to serve in many different leadership roles—from the Timberville Volunteer Fire Department and the Broadway Emergency Squad to Town Council and organizations that support first responders across Virginia. Those experiences have taught me the importance of listening, working together, and making decisions that put people first.
As Mayor, I will continue to lead with the same principles that have guided me throughout my life: honesty, accountability, respect, and common-sense leadership. I believe in listening before making decisions, treating everyone with respect, and always putting the best interests of Timberville first.
I don't claim to have all the answers, but I do bring something that cannot be learned overnight—experience. Years of working in local government, leading volunteer organizations, serving in emergency services, and owning a local business have prepared me for this opportunity. I understand how our town operates, the challenges we face, and the importance of bringing people together to find practical solutions.
Over the coming months, I look forward to visiting with residents, listening to your ideas, and talking about the future of Timberville. I hope you'll share your thoughts, ask questions, and join me as we continue working toward an even stronger community.
I would be honored to earn your trust, your support, and your vote on November 3, 2026.
I believe the best days for Timberville are still ahead, and I would be honored to help lead us there.
Thank you, and may God continue to bless the Town of Timberville and everyone who calls it home.
